About
I am a writer, inventor and baker, focused on what I consider to be important issues today: leadership, taking care of ourselves and innovation. I have published three books and many journal articles. I patented a process to solubilize Carbon 60, a unique and powerful antioxidant.
I have over 40 years of experience in the food industry with 34 years in baking. I worked in Quality Control, Analytical Testing, Product Development, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs and Operations. I retired from Grupo Bimbo as Vice President of Food Safety, Quality and Crisis Management with oversight responsibility for Bimbo Bakeries 150 bakeries in 22 countries.
I served as Chair of the Food Technical and Regulatory Affairs Committee of the American Baker’s Association from 2002 to 2017 and served as President of the Board of the Center for Food Integrity. I am a member of the American Chemical Society and the Institute of Food Technologists. I write articles for Baking and Snack Magazine, Sosland Publishing and have been an adjunct Professor, teaching an undergraduate level course on Baking Science at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, PA.
I am now retired but working as hard as ever! My projects include medical development of Carbon 60, baking consultation, inventing and writing. I am an avid gardener and hobby orchid grower.
